NORSAD is a joint Nordic - SADC Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) financing initiative that  seeks to positively impact on member countries' development by providing financing to viable SADC SMEs. The financing provided helps in the establishment or expansion of SMEs that  are  conducting their business in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner.

The 15  NORSAD member  countries (4 Nordic and 11 SADC) are Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Angola,  Botswana,  Lesotho,  Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. NORSAD is based in Lusaka, Zambia from which it covers all 11 member countries with the assistance of Country Advisors located in each country.
